Christmas in Copenhagen

Christmas came early this year – to be precise, on the 1st of December! On the first day of MIND event, Wonderful Copenhagen Convention Bureau and Visit Denmark surprised us big time with a Christmas themed dinner at Tivoli Congress Centre. All was beautifully set for a traditional Christmas celebration and the evening was full of surprises.

When travelling to a new destination, I enjoy learning about the host country and this one was a very memorable experience, very authentic and personal, almost as visiting the Danes at their homes.

In the following I am happy to share with you some of the highlights from our Christmas dinner – we had all – great food, present exchange, games, and as they say in Denmark – Happy Ending.

Dessert:

Rice à la mande – cherry sauce (Danish Rice Pudding)

Tradition says that there should be one whole almond in the pudding and the one who finds it gets a present

As they say in Denmark – all events need a Happy Ending. So we also had a spectacular finish, with konfetti falling down in surprise and we are all smiles and happy after the first day in Copenhagen 🙂

Thank you Visit Copenhagen, Wonderful Copenhagen Convention Bureau and all the partners for the memorable experience and wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
