Will Munich host the 2018 Olympics winter games? On July 6 the Decision live at BMW Welt & Marienplatz

Munich (Germany), Annecy (France) or Pyeongchang (South Korea) will take the honor to host the 2018 Olympic winter games?

On July 6 the decision will be transmitted live on various public viewing locations in Munich.

One of the locations is the BMW Welt. BMW Welt is the national sponsor and will transmit  the decision live at 17:00 by the International Olympic Committee in Durban (South Africa). Further entertainment will be an exclusive concert featuring the German pop band Polarkreis 18 with cool drinks served at the bar.

Another public viewing location is the famous Marienplatz. The day will start already at 08:45! In the city center tents will be built which will sell Bavarian food specialties, there will be stages with national performers and live transmissions on big screen. The highlight will be the a performance of the Norwegian hip hop duo Madcon  that is well known from the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with their hit song “Glow”. All those activities are made to shorten the excitement and waiting time.
